I’m a 30-ish software engineer living in Vienna, Austria. I graduated from the Technical University of Vienna in 2005 with a thesis on multi-dimensional knapsacks and local search optimizations. Since then I’ve been doing enterprise software development using Java, although I’d really like to do a bit more algorithmical or system-level programming – it’s both challenging and fun.
Besides doing computers I’m an avid reader (many contemporary American, European and Asian authors come to mind), like to watch movies (anything from Hollywood blockbusters to small independent productions), and I actually do some sports if time and motiviation permits it.
